Tim Kozin
Founder & Financial Analyst
Tim Kozin is the founder of Revenue Map and the analyst behind its library of financial-modeling guides. He has spent the better part of a decade building bottom-up financial models for early-stage startups, first as an operator wrestling spreadsheets into board decks, then as the person building the tooling to make that work repeatable.
His writing focuses on the mechanics that actually move a model: monthly recurring revenue and its five-part waterfall, churn and how it compounds against growth, e-commerce unit economics, and the vertical-specific economics of fintech, marketplaces, healthtech, and more. The goal is always the same, models founders can defend in a diligence room, built from unit economics rather than top-down TAM hand-waving.
He built Revenue Map to collapse the weeks of spreadsheet work into minutes, pairing real industry benchmarks with scenario and sensitivity analysis so founders know when they break even before they launch.
